Refund Policy (GEO Writer)

This Refund Policy (the "Policy") explains when Manifest Cowboys LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") provides refunds for GEO Writer (the "Service"). This Policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service.

1) Overview

GEO Writer is a subscription service that uses a token-based system (where tokens are credited to your account according to your plan and may roll over). Because digital services and token credits are delivered immediately upon purchase/renewal/upgrade, refunds are limited as described below.


2) Refund Eligibility

You may request a refund only if all of the following conditions are met:

  1. Timing: Your refund request is submitted within 7 calendar days of the charge date; and
  2. No usage: No tokens have been used since the charge (including for any article generation or article set generation); and
  3. Good standing: Your account is not suspended or terminated for cause (e.g., fraud, abuse, or Acceptable Use Policy violations).

If any tokens have been used, no refund is available.


3) What Counts as "Tokens Used"

A token is considered "used" when it is consumed for content generation. This includes:

  • generating any articles; and/or
  • generating a full 7-article set (which consumes 7 tokens).

If the Service shows any token consumption after the charge date, you are not eligible for a refund for that charge.


4) Subscription Renewals, Upgrades, and Downgrades

A) Renewals

If your subscription renews and you request a refund within 7 days, you may be eligible only if no tokens were used after that renewal charge.

B) Upgrades

Upgrades take effect immediately and typically credit your new monthly token allowance immediately. Refunds for upgrade charges are available only within 7 days and only if no tokens are used after the upgrade charge.

C) Downgrades

Downgrades take effect at the next renewal. Downgrades do not create eligibility for refunds for prior charges.


5) Immediate Cancellation and Refunds

If you cancel your subscription, cancellation takes effect immediately (you lose paid features right away). Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund. Refund eligibility is determined solely by Section 2.


6) Annual Plan (Enterprise) Refunds

For annual subscriptions (e.g., the Enterprise plan), refunds are available only within 7 days of the annual charge and only if no tokens have been used after that charge.

Because annual plans credit tokens upfront, please review your token usage carefully before requesting a refund.


7) Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are not provided in the following situations (except where required by law):

  • Any token usage occurred after the relevant charge;
  • Your account was suspended or terminated for cause (fraud, abuse, or policy violations);
  • You changed your mind, no longer need the Service, or did not achieve desired GEO/SEO results;
  • You forgot to cancel before renewal;
  • Service issues outside our control (e.g., third-party platform outages) that do not constitute a legal requirement for refund;
  • Fees charged by third-party providers (e.g., bank fees, currency conversion fees), which are not refundable by us.

8) Chargebacks and Disputes

If you have a billing concern, please contact us first at support@writegeo.ai so we can try to resolve it.

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us, we may suspend your account during the investigation. We reserve the right to contest chargebacks when appropriate and to recover costs associated with disputed payments to the extent permitted by law.


9) How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, email support@writegeo.ai with:

  • the email address associated with your GEO Writer account,
  • the date of the charge,
  • the last 4 digits of the card (if available) or other identifying billing info, and
  • a brief reason for the request.

We may request additional information to verify your identity and evaluate eligibility.


10) Processing Time and Method

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method when possible. Processing times may vary by payment method and financial institution.


11) Legal Rights

Some jurisdictions provide mandatory rights to refunds or withdrawal (especially for consumers in certain regions). Nothing in this Policy limits any non-waivable rights you may have under applicable law. Where legally required, we will provide refunds consistent with those rights.


12) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above. Changes apply prospectively from the effective date.
